Both dramas' plots revolve around a couple that is entangled in time travel and mystery. I enjoyed both dramas a lot! Acting, storytelling and character development is superb. While very different in many ways, they gave off a similar vibe to me since both couples meet and begin their love story because of public transportation and it's the main setting/catalyst of the story. The dramas' stories revolve mainly around one big accident which occurred in the past. In addition, one of the genres in definitely romance with feelings blossoming between the main characters, Both male leads meet their future self and rushes against time to save the female lead lead from her impending death in the present. Both show main characters going to the future, trying to find out what happened to their future selves and closed ones. One is crime thriller and the other is a rom com. Both involve time travel within a relatively short period that can only happen due to a specific location a train vs. a door. Both have unexpected twists and choices made by the main characters. both are about time traveling and the two main male leads try to prevent events which are related to their loved one. I loved Tomorrow with you – especially all the domestic scenes / how to be married. The negative comments I have seen about it seems to be about it being slow - OK, that is just personal preference ; but also about how people interpret the main characters actions and the actors facial expressions in a totally different way than I do. At least people who comment on Dramafever below the episodes. The most common in dramas is to get rid of some of the mothers by killing them, so that all adult actors have either nobody or a wonderful father. Here we had two mothers one mother who supposedly even worked the same place as her daughter Happiness, but she just had like two lines in the whole series, and Ma Rin´s mother, the mean and greedy wonder if the fact that the mother of Ma Rin was invented to make her seem more mean and the father more innocent? But other things were nice Ma Rin has her own plans for the future and what she wants to do, she wasn´t particularly stupid or dependant on her man, she couldn´t cook haha, and in general lived a relatively ordinary life. However, one thing that got me confused was that Original timeline was that both leads died on the same day and were not married Another timeline after Sojoon decides not to marry Marin, but they still die together and his future self tells past self why not try and work it out with her to avoid the death Ending was that they both did not die because ahjussi blocked the accident for them So the things I want to clarify are In the original timeline whereby both leads died not married to each other, does ahjussi die too? I forgot if he does, but I remember him trying to drag his past self away & he also said he couldn't travel any further..? If everything in the drama sort of does a casual loop in the end, as we see, it isn't actually explained how they handle the comatose Sojoon who came from 2017, stabbed by Director Kim? They only showed that in 2022 they were living together happily, but what about that comatose 2022? That timeline was still supposed to happen since he went back at that time and from there, Marin is then alive in 2022. Is this a plot hole or something? How are they supposed to nurse that past Sojoon for him to go back? EDIT Also, is it explicitly said that Ahjussi had time travelling skills TOO after the Namyeong accident, or did he always have it, and left Marin and wife to save Marin’s future? I remember the scene in the finale where the mom asked him why did he leave and he sort of said he was nosy/curious about things, so did it mean that he already had the power then? I saw people saying that because he had the power from the start and so he tried many times to save his daughter, and made it so that Sojoon boarded the train with her but then if we saw the flashback, it was all a coincidence? He was also just calmly selling toothbrushes on the subway, so it seemed like he didn’t have the ability then, or else he wouldn’t be selling the toothbrushes on the subway right? I really wonder why only both of them possess the ability though, and not Marin as well? I initially thought Sojoon got his ability because he ran into the incident site and kind of fainted there or something, but we had not enough background info about how Ahjussi got his abilities... So-joon em uma de suas viagens ao futuro, ao ir em sua casa, descobre que se casou com Ma-rin, e quando volta ao presente corta os laços com ela., pois ele não se ve casado, principalmente com alguém com uma personalidade como a dela. Com isso seu futuro muda novamente, e por sua vez ela aceita devido insistência da mãe ir em um encontro arranjado com um jornalista, que diferente dos outros que ja passaram em seu caminho, se mostra compreensível com sua historia e faz uma matéria sobre sua vida. No futuro So-joon le a matéria e descobre que ela estava com ele no trem, na verdade ela o salvou do acidente, o puxando para fora do vagão. Doo-Shik o aconselha a se casar com esta mulher, dizendo que isso mudaria o futuro dos dois, e ele se casa com Song Ma Rin, mesmo sem nutrir nenhum amor por ela e nem ter as melhores opiniões a respeito da esposa. Já ela o ama totalmente, mas percebe que a vida de casado não esta sendo como pensava. Mas ele aos poucos vai se rendendo por sua personalidade espontânea e alegre, e os dois juntos acabam sendo bem engraçados em algumas cenas. E se preparem porque beijos não faltam rs. Achei linda a abertura do drama, com uma fotografia maravilhosa, mostrando os dois em momentos bem fofos, onde ele é que esta fotografando ela. Abaixo vocês podem ver alguns prints. No geral eu gostei do drama, não é la o melhor dorama que ja vi - e bem abaixo da qualidade de Goblin - mas a historia é bem legal. Os primeiros episódios são um pouco confusos, o que me fez quase desistir de continuar assistindo, presente - futuro, presente - futuro, presente - futuro , mas com o passar dos episódios, vamos tendo mais informações, conseguimos entender melhor o contexto e até mesmo com a melhora do relacionamento entre Ma-rin e So-joon o drama melhora muito. O drama tem uma pegada de humor mas com uma maior parte melodramático. Ele mistura um pouco de magia, mas não é explicado o motivo de So-joon e do Doo-Shik conseguirem viajarem no tempo, o que pessoalmente não gostei, pois a Ma-ri estava com eles durante o acidente do metro, mas porque ela não teve essa habilidade também ? Mas o romance é fofo e no geral recomendo que assistam o drama e tirem suas conclusões. Pra finalizar, posso dizer que gostei muito do final, mostra bem o que acabou acontecendo, mas essa parte não darei nenhum spoiler rs. Outros personagens importantes no drama, além do Doo-Shik Jo Han-chul, é seu melhor amigo Kang Gi-Doong Kang Gi-Doong que trabalha junto com ele e sabe desde do inicio a super habilidade do amigo. Também tem a Shin Se-Young Park Joo-Hee que amiga dos dois, que nutre desde a adolescência sentimentos por So-Joon e por quem Gi-Doong gosta. Temos um vilão invejoso Kim Yong Jin Baek Hyun Jin, que deseja a empresa do So-Joon, e sera o responsável por todas maldades do drama e seu secretario Hwang Chae Dong- Hyun. Lee Gun-Sook Kim Ye-Won é a esposa de Kim Yong Jin e também "amiga da onça" de Ma-rin, que no inicio se mostra uma megera, querendo atrapalhar a vida dela, mas com o passar dos episódios percebemos que ela é inofensiva. A mãe da Ma-Rin, Cha Boo-Sim Lee Jung-Eun é muito engraçada e sempre que a via lembrava de sua ótima personagem em Oh my ghostes. Oh So-Ri Lee Bong Ryun é a melhor amiga e confidente de Ma-rin.. Gostei muito da escolha de todo elenco. Todos personagens e atores ao meu ver exerceram bem seus papeis no drama. Ja conhecia bem a ótima interpretação da Shin Min Ah, mas não conhecia o Lee Je Hoon, mas gostei muito do ator. O casal teve um a química surpreendente, com cenas muito fofas entre eles.
